As a "Landzunge" business, products from the Allgäu-Oberschwaben region take centre stage on our menu. In addition to meat from Allgäu's pasture-raised beef and Buchmann's country pork, as well as game from our own hunting grounds, international ingredients also find their place. The kitchen crew around owner Alexander Bösch offers you a wide repertoire.
From down-to-earth vespers to fine game dishes and creative desserts - the cuisine at the Hotel Gasthaus ADLER has had an excellent reputation for many years. With a cool beer from Upper Swabia, the right wine from our cellar and a plum water from our own distillery, you will always find the perfect accompaniment to your meal - preferably in our wonderful beer garden!

What is considered "in" and "modern" today has always been normal at the ADLER. This is also shown by a look at the handwritten cookbook of the great-grandmother of today's chef, Agathe Stützle. Every part of the precious animal was processed whenever possible. This philosophy of sustainability, which was quite normal back then, is still followed today.
Respect for the mostly regional and seasonal products and care in the preparation so that you can enjoy it with a clear conscience.
Our rustic guest room with its large tables still has the charm of a typical inn. Rustic wooden furniture, the central tiled stove, creaky oak parquet flooring and the wooden panelling characterise its character. This was deliberately preserved during the major renovation in 1993, because the guest room has always been the place where people meet and talk in convivial company. In our guest room we offer space for up to 28 people.
The 1500 sqm courtyard - protected from noise and wind - offers you pure relaxation. On the sunny terrace you can enjoy the first warming rays of sunshine as early as March. In high summer, the shade of the ancient trees in the Adlergarten offers pleasant temperatures. The newly created lounge corner invites you to an aperitif or simply to relax.

Hunting has had a firm place in the ADLER for generations. The cosy hunting room with its hunting-style furnishings stands for the long tradition of hunting in the house and in the family. It is not only when the tiled stove is crackling in winter that you can enjoy yourself here. 24 seats, also suitable for groups and smaller private parties.
The Stützle room is named after the ancestors of today's operator family Bösch, who used to live in these rooms. In January 2023, the two rooms were thoroughly renovated and redesigned. The Stützle Room is the third part of the restaurant, next to the guestroom and the hunting room. It can be divided by a partition wall and is therefore particularly suitable for private parties and groups of 15 to 45 people.
